VIDEO: SecurityDreamer Unconference: Store up to five months of video surveillance

Hello, David Spark here videoblogging from and for the SecurityDreamer unconference in Atlanta at the Hard Rock Cafe, the night before the ASIS conference.

I spoke with Jeff Whitney of the external IP storage company Intransa, a sponsor of the event. Whitney was telling me it's better than a DVR and needs no infrastructure in between. His big announcement at ASIS is they have a new product with 2 TB of storage, a small footprint, it's cheap, and can hold up to five months of storage. While they do support traditional markets like prisons, a new market for Intransa is manufacturing.
